| Your First Visit At your first appointment, after obtaining a dental and medical history, a thorough and complete orthodontic examination will be performed. This will include an analysis of facial and skeletal type, assessment of facial growth, and an examination of the bite, alignment of the teeth, health of the soft tissues, and function of the jaw and adjacent supporting structures. The timing, duration, mode of indicated treatment, and a fee estimate will be discussed. We will also address your questions and concerns about orthodontics. If treatment is necessary, an appointment will be made to obtain diagnostic records. There is no charge for this first appointment to our office.
After a thorough and complete diagnosis, a detailed course of treatment will be outlined for you in a treatment conference. This careful analysis allows us to provide you with a thorough understanding of the goals of treatment, patient responsibilities, and what to expect from the office. Regular Appointments We share your concern about missing school or work and schedule appointments so that each patient receives convenient appointments whenever possible. We are happy to provide school accepted excuses for appointments during school hours. At the start of your treatment, appliance placement may take from 30 minutes to two hours. With today's advanced technology and materials, you then see us at intervals ranging from 4 to 8 weeks, for approximately 15 to 45 minutes. Our office hours in both locations are weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Payment & Office Policies Cost |
